Reception
Joey Aerowood Joey came to Aerowood in 2000 as an abused, malnourished youngster. Eventually he grew to trust most people and we love him dearly. However, if you enter the clinic through the Exit door and startle him, be prepared for a loud reprimand from Joey.
One of his main duties is to walk the humans who work here and he excels at his work.
Joey was awarded a prestigious Honorable Mention in the Animal Hall of Fame from the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association in October 2005. | View |
Emily Aerowood Our gentle, sweet Emily spends a good part of her day keeping us on our toes in the front office. Since she's deaf, she doesn't react when you speak to her and she can be defensive when children get too friendly.
Clients often don't notice her camouflaged in her bed on the front counter. | View |
Postal Aerowood In 2001, Animal Control officers rescued a frightened tabby, caught in the wheel well of a Post Office delivery truck. She broke her tail during her struggle to get free. Eventually we had to perform an amputation, but the result is a cute stub that wiggles when she wags.
Postal's favorite pastime is to sunbathe under the lamp on the Doctors' desk. | View |
